Update: Mulla Mulla Village Expansion, East Pibara, Western Australia
Thu, 1 Jun 2017BHP Billiton Iron Ore expanded their existing facilities at Mulla Mulla Village at Area C located in the Eastern Pilbarra region of Western Australia.
LightPlan was engaged to design appropriate lighting services to an additonal 1,400 accommodation units and other enhancements to the Village including:-
- Two-Storey Dry Mess Dining including Cool Rooms and Dry Stores
- Squash Courts
- Outdoor tennis courts
- Gazebo BBQ areas
- Linen Storage Shed
- Maintenance Shed
- Roads to new single and two-storey accommodation blocks
- Connector pathways between existing and new accommodation blocks
- Vehicle park extension, bus park and new lead-out roads.
- Perimeter pathway
- Central facilities
LightPlan's deliverables encompassed the preparation of Lighting Layout Plan Drawings including:-
- 3D light renderings to selected locations
- all relevant light-technical calculations and lighting design assumptions
- luminaire purchasing specification and copies of manufacturers' data sheets
- luminaire mounting heights, aiming, tilt, etc
- installation notes
- layout plans
- signed-off by a qualified and practising lighting engineer
